The castle which was mentioned is now a famous hotel. The site started as a farming area and was developed by the Vida family. Nowadays it is a gated community with several golf courses, two five-star hotels, and a vast array of stunning properties with amazing views over the surrounding mountains and the bay of Palma. It has attracted famous visitors and royals and has been the home of celebrities, and golf and architecture lovers alike. It has easy access to all amenities like cultural events, cinemas, shopping, sports, and medical centers and it is only a stone´s throw away from the capital Palma. Famous beaches and their clubs are within a short drive and the airport is just 15 minutes away which also makes it attractive to commuters. Son Vida is divided into the newer and the older parts. In the new Son Vida, you will find stunning villas with purist and modern architecture and the more classical Mediterranean-style ones around the golf courses in the older part.
