luxury contemporary apartments / penthouses for sale Apulia, Italy

In the heart of Oria, a charming millenary village known as the "Gateway to Salento", we propose a prestigious property located within the ancient medieval center, between the suggestive Messapic walls. The property is the result of a careful conservative renovation, aimed at bringing to light the authenticity of the original dwelling, enhancing the architectural elements typical of Apulian historical residences. The result is a perfect blend of period charm and contemporary comfort. The property enjoys a prime location, at the foot of the Cathedral of Oria and in close proximity to the Swabian Castle, historically linked to the figure of Frederick II of Swabia. The main square and the main points of historical interest are within easy walking distance. It is developed into three independent housing units, each characterized by a strong identity and a functional and elegant distribution of space. A first unit, inspired by the medieval world, is distinguished by the presence of decorative elements such as armor, swords and shields. The unit consists of a large and bright living room with a balcony overlooking the characteristic alleys of the village, brick kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, all embellished with typical vaulted ceilings. The second unit pays homage to the imperial figure of Frederick II, with dedicated iconographic references. It consists of a living room with kitchenette, also with star vaults and excellent brightness, as well as a bathroom and bedroom. The third unit, inspired by the winemaking tradition of the area, offers more articulated environments: an entrance hall with living area, kitchen with direct access to a private inner courtyard, ideal for moments of relaxation in total privacy, large living room with barrel vault and ancient fireplace reinterpreted as an exhibition element. Two bathrooms and a bedroom complete the property. Particular attention has been paid to the choice of materials and finishes: fine upholstery, wrought-iron elements - including chandeliers and appliqué - also handcrafted in the renowned village of Guardiagrele, which contribute to give the rooms an authentic and timeless elegance. The property is equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi connection and alarm system The strategic location allows you to reach the Salento airport in about thirty minutes, as well as the main coastal resorts on both the Ionian and Adriatic sides and the most important cities of art in the region. A unique opportunity for those who wish to live or invest in a historical context of rare beauty, in the most authentic heart of Puglia.
