This property was built around 1885 on the ruins of an old inn by Mr. D., who returned from the Transvaal after making his fortune in gold and diamond mines.

Several owners have succeeded one another, such as the Godin family, an ambassador, a famous doctor. All have maintained the authentic character of this piece of human-scale architecture. But for now, no one has discovered the treasure of diamonds hidden by its builder.
