In the heart of one of the most popular districts of Dax, this concrete construction built in 1972 is the work of the Dacquois architect, René Guichemerre. Raised on 3 levels, it offers geometric facades with refined decor, reflecting a play of reliefs and depth, thanks to the projecting volumes, the wide band of the flat eaves and the continuous balcony of the upper floor. It develops nearly 320m2 of living space following a rectangular plan. On the ground floor, the large entrance and its graphic staircase offer a clear reading of the volumes. Light reigns there thanks to the beautiful bay windows with quarter-round angles, the architect's emblematic signature. Its architecture, down to the details, remains faithful to its original design and is reminiscent of the American villas dear to Franck Loyd WRIGHT.
