Immersed in Mediterranean vegetation, this bubble house was built in 2006 by the architect Jérôme Peyret, a student of the famous Hungarian habitologist Antti Lovag. In a dominant position on a landscaped plot of 2,505 sqm without vis-à-vis, the house has a living area of 75 sqm, divided into several bubbles. The living space accommodates a circular lounge with dining area and a hammock on the mezzanine that can accommodate a double bed. A semi-open kitchen occupies a sphere adjoining the main volume. A staircase leads to the landing serving the hammock, a bathroom and a separate toilet. The house benefits from a large wooden terrace, which follows its exterior curves. In the living room and in the bedroom, large elliptical bays are fitted into the thickness of the facade like a porthole. They each integrate a large window sill forming a pleasant relaxation area facing the view. The hulls are pierced with skydomes, which allow soft zenithal light to penetrate into the different rooms. A 'habitological' creation with sculptural forms, the bubble house fits into the landscape, like a total art based on the harmony of human habitation with its immediate natural environment. The house is sold with its furniture. The construction of a swimming pool is possible. The property benefits from a privileged setting in the heart of nature in Vidauban, a picturesque village in the Var famous for its vineyards, close to the A8 and 35 km from the Gulf of Saint Tropez.
