In the heart of the Pays de Bitche, within the preserved natural environment of the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park, Domaine Les Laurentides, located in the Finsterbach Valley in Lemberg, is an extensive equestrian and real estate estate spanning more than 30 hectares.
Developed primarily between 2013 and 2014, the property was designed around professional equestrian facilities dedicated to training, competition horse development and the organisation of equestrian events.
The equestrian complex is centred around a 60 × 30-metre indoor arena, offering 1,800 sqm of riding space and equipped with a permanent watering system. Its design also provides abundant natural light and ventilation through large roof structures fitted with electrically operated openings.
Positioned on either side of the indoor arena are 32 stalls measuring 3.50 × 4 metres, approximately 14 sqm each. They feature Röwer & Rüb fronts, high ceilings finished in solid oak, rotating feeders and automatic heated waterers for winter use.
Each stall has direct access to its own private adjoining paddock, providing 32 individual paddocks equipped with perforated ground mats.
One of the estate's most distinctive technical features is its underground manure extraction system. Each stall is fitted with a floor-level hatch connected to an underground suction network, allowing manure to be removed without wheelbarrows circulating through the stable aisles.
The facilities also include several tack rooms and technical areas, hot-water horse showers, solariums, changing rooms with showers, a clubhouse, dining room, storage lofts, a horse walker and a lunging ring.
Two apartments are located above the equestrian complex.
Outdoors, the estate features two large arenas equipped with the Ebbe-Flut system, providing controlled moisture management of the footing through sub-irrigation. One measures 50 × 100 metres, offering 5,000 sqm of riding space with an elevated position overlooking the Finsterbach Valley. A judges' stand completes the facilities designed for equestrian competitions.
The estate was conceived for demanding sporting use and has hosted horse training and development activities as well as show-jumping competitions over the years.
A substantial storage building provides extensive space for equestrian equipment, jumps, machinery and agricultural vehicles.
Separate from the equestrian facilities, the property includes a large restaurant building, constructed in timber and opening onto a spacious terrace. Originally designed to accommodate approximately 120 guests, it also offers spaces suitable for receptions and seminars.
Three additional apartments are located above the restaurant, bringing the total number of residential units on the estate to five. The building also benefits from extensive parking facilities and complies with accessibility standards for people with reduced mobility.
A children's play area completes the facilities.
At the heart of the property lies a lake of approximately 6 hectares, surrounded by meadows and woodland. The Finsterbach Valley and the forests of the Northern Vosges provide an exceptionally preserved natural setting, also well suited to walking, horse riding and mountain biking.
The estate benefits from extensive technical infrastructure, including a borehole approximately 110 metres deep supplying water to the property, wood-fired heating, three-phase electricity, automatic irrigation systems, an alarm system and video surveillance.
Finally, the estate offers further development potential, with the possibility of creating a hotel and cottages, subject to the necessary planning and administrative approvals.
Through the quality of its design, the scale of its landholding and the comprehensive nature of its facilities, Domaine Les Laurentides represents a particularly accomplished estate, combining professional equestrian activities, competition facilities, hospitality, accommodation and events within a single property.
This property is marketed by Hugo Conerardy, BARNES Nancy-Vosges consultant.
