The current owners purchased the property by obtaining a Fido Comisso, a Mexican entity similar to a Trust, from the previous owners. Consult a Mexican attorney, but you should be able to purchase this property through the same process. The property is managed by a local company. The actual property manager lives close and she is from the US but lives in the area and speaks several languages. There is not a true HOA, but instead a voluntary co-op with a Road and Security Group which the current owners participate in. Roughly, it’s $300 US per quarter. The total of property tax, federal zone tax and trust payment for 2025 was 38,100 pesos.
