Originally, this was probably a modest farm transformed into a holiday house at the end of the 19th century. Today, the country house is metamorphosed by its Art Nouveau murals, probably painted around 1900 and 1920, following the publication of an album around 1911. These paintings are mostly surrounded by trompe l'oeil murals which are closer in style to Art Deco.
