Between Tours and Angers, with 19 ha of park and 305 ha of forests and agricultural land, a 19th century castle and its outbuildings. A country road leads to a gated entrance. It opens onto a driveway that crosses the park and leads to the castle. A dirt path continues to the outbuildings, arranged around a courtyard. The property dates from the first half of the 19th century. Built of tuffeau on a hard stone base, the main dwelling rises four levels, about 250 m² each, one of which is under the eaves. The building, rectangular in shape, is flanked by four octagonal towers with pepper-pots, standing at each of its corners. The four-pitched slate roof is pierced, at the front and back, by Renaissance-style dormers. The main facades and the towers are rusticated. The cornices are decorated with corbels. Portraits surmount two central doors on either side, framed by pilasters and accessible, at the front, by a straight staircase; at the back, by a double-spiral staircase bordered by a tuffeau railing. The front facade is extended by a balcony supported by a lion's head. The ground floor is occupied by reception rooms, which have retained their original decor. Eleven bedrooms and an office-library extend over the two upper floors. The castle, oriented north-south, is in the middle of its park and close to the courtyard of the outbuildings located near the west gable. The estate includes an English-style park of nearly 20 ha, about 90 ha of agricultural land, and a forested area of around 215 ha. All buildings will require renovation work.
