The stair treads are made of pink Subasio stone. At street level and below street level, overlooking the garden, we find numerous communicating rooms dating back to Roman times, all covered with vaults in exposed local stone, including: a basin for collecting water, an old oven, a construction on two levels with a sloping roof and exposed wooden beams, formerly used as a granary and an oil mill, as well as a small courtyard, also with independent access onto the road, onto which other rooms overlook.
