This Mediterranean-inspired architectural work stems from a compositional approach.
Its design favours horizontality and permeability between the built environment and the surrounding landscape, so that architecture and landscape become surfaces for expression, criss-crossed by patterns of light that blend plant motifs with architectural lines.
THE SCALE OF THE LANDSCAPE
The composition is based on the juxtaposition and interweaving of orthogonal volumes with sharp edges.
A main structure, rising over two storeys, acts as a visual pivot and breaks up the linearity of the whole.
A modern aesthetic prevails; the roof terraces, edged with parapets, cut through the volumes with a clean line against the azure sky.
GEOMETRY OF VOLUMES
