In the San Zeno district, overlooking the Scaliger Bridge at Castelvecchio and the Adige River, this apartment occupies the piano nobile of an 18th-century palazzo.
The building comprises just four residences, with a lift, an elegant entrance and communal areas renovated in 2023.
The property includes a living room, kitchen, study, three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a ground-floor cellar. A rare example of artist-designed living, it was fully renovated in the late 1980s by internationally renowned artist and architect Nanda Vigo. For its art-collecting owners, she conceived an eclectic, one-of-a-kind interior.
Prun stone, 17th-century Carrara marble, walls up to 60 cm thick, restored historic door frames and a radial-patterned floor in red Verona marble are complemented by bespoke design elements. The interiors draw inspiration from Verona's historic landmarks: in the living room, a small temple-like structure designed by the artist and inspired by Porta Borsari elegantly divides the spaces, combining aesthetics with functionality. Original furnishings from the 1930s and 1940s and architectural furniture designed by the artist define this residence, a veritable treasure trove of art for connoisseurs.
A garage is available separately. The apartment is prepared for subdivision into two independent units.
