This splendid villa is a historic residence with a particular charm, immersed in a quiet and exclusive hilly landscape just a few minutes from Pistoia. It was built at the beginning of the nineteenth century by the engineer Parri, designer of the first railway line in central Italy. On the occasion of the inauguration of this railway line, the Grand Duke of Tuscany Leopold II and the Crown Prince of Italy also stayed in the villa, which still makes its historical significance tangible today.
After a careful restoration in the 80s and a new complete renovation in 2011/2012, the villa today combines the charm of times gone by with modern comfort. Elegant deluxe rooms, suites and apartments offer a relaxing atmosphere that blends harmoniously into the spacious park. In addition to about 800 olive trees and 15,000 medicinal plants, there is also an apiary with 40 beehives; part of the land is wooded.
